Battle in Ashran daily needs re-worked.

The quest requires you to 'obtain' 100 artifact fragments. This is what the quest dialog states.

After having 'obtained' 90 fragments and not wanting to lose them, I turned them into an Ashran NPC.
I now have zero credit towards the quest.

The quest dialog should be reworded to 'obtain and turn into to NPC at garrison'. This would prevent any confusion.

This all being said, it is almost impossible to finish this daily in a reasonable amount of time, or at all. When you die you lose half of your artifacts. You can be pick pocketed by rogues. And if you are a melee, do not even try to help your team engage the opposite faction leader.

To those who say that I had obtained 90 easily and I should not have turned them in, I was on a stealth class. Any opposing faction that passed by never knew I was there, thus not having the chance to lose my precious fragments.

I simply would prefer to 'obtain' the fragments and whether I lose them or turn them in, still have it count towards the daily.

We're investigating some issues with this daily quest and agree that it's not as clear as it should be.

For everyone's benefit: currently, you need to collect 100 Artifact Fragments and turn them in at your Garrison. As Jinx mentions, turning them in to the NPCs in Ashran itself will remove them from your character and not count for the Apexis daily.

We're also experiencing an issue for some players where the quest tracker will say "0/1 Artifact Fragments" and never update. If you experience this issue, you are still able to complete the quest by collecting 100 Artifact Fragments and turning them in at your Garrison. The quest tracker just won't tell you that you've completed the quest.

We're working on correcting these issues, but in the meantime, following those instructions should allow you to complete the quest.
