So people like spending 1kg?

I have read quite a few posts of people supporting or at least paying out on people who don't like the 1kg for dual specs.

May i ask - why do you WANT to spend 1kg? wouldn't it be easier for you to support a feature that costs nothing?

Or is it because you have that amount to spend and you want others with less to not be able to get the feature?

I mean instead of trying to feel good about yourselves in a computer game by trying make it harder for *casuals* you could go outside and maybe win a 100 metre sprint or something.
You could get a medal.
That would be cool.

I'm happy to spend my gold for fun new things. First up: Mechano-hog, next up: Deul specs (spelling intentional)

Ok Mr. Bornakk, a mechano-hog is one thing... no one really needs that over a normal mount... but Dual Speccing is going to become a huge part of the game, not just a simple luxury that looks cool in dalaran... bad analogy is bad.

Patch 3.1 is not released yet. You have plenty of time to earn 1000g if the duel spec feature is crucial to your game play despite not having it for over 4 years now.

The comparison works fine because of this as you lived without it for 4 years, the mechano-hog costs like 13 times what duall specs cost, and since I'm willing to buy both, yes, I am happy to spend my gold on whatever comes up.

Do you really get paid to say trash like this?

Dual Specs isn't really new at all, people have been respeccing for years now. Oh wow, they don't have to run back to town to do it or spend a few minutes putting their new talents back in, wow...amazing new feature.

The ability to switch without going back to town, having it change out your glyphs, and change out your action bars automatically is new, yes, not sure where you have been. ;-)

Why is this a luxury to players with money? When I (finally) reach level 80, I'll have to spend days/weeks grinding money for epic flight training and an epic flying mount, then get mats for tanking/DPSing/healing, and now an additional 1k for equivalent of.. 20 respecs (at worst)?

In all my time in the Burning Crusade, I changed specs less than 20 times on all my characters. 1000 gold is a waste of money, it's inaccessible, and it's just another !%@@ING lump-fee to add on to the already huge amounts of gold required to play this goddamn game.

This should be a FEATURE that EVERYONE can use to SAVE money and make the game BETTER. It's too valuable and too wanted to be a luxury.

If you respec consistently between 2 exact specs it does save you money in the long run. If you have needed to respec as little as you mention, it won't save you money, but it adds a convenience if that is what you want and you still have quite a bit of time to get the gold if you want it. By respeccing so few and far between it would be pretty easy to not pick this up and just do the classic respec whenever it is needed which should be pretty cheap.
