I just seen your reply.

Thanks Mal :-)

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll use them in my Velutinous Thermal Synthesis Apparatus. Standard equipment on most felines.

Makes a weird 'purring' vibration when in use.

Hmm, I forgot to add that to the equation. Malorix's composition is actually 1 part fuzz, 3 parts prickle, 2 parts claw, 7 parts rumbling vibration, and 15 parts sass.

Where's the 'awesome'? I thought there was 'awesome' =(.

There's way more than 1 part fuzz, too. I'm waaaay too cuddly for there to only be 1 part fuzz.

I was under the impression that I was entirely composed of kittens and fluff. I think we're going to have to send our samples to a lab for side by side analysis.

Hey Mal, redline, since I feel like you're being left out...

Noted! I get hissy when others meddle with content here. If a subject is clearly and obviously not serious, things aren't taken to an extreme, and the content is harmless, should be safe (here at least).

Still, good looking out!

Hey guys?

I hope you're all aware of how much we as a team, and how much I individually, appreciate your efforts. I've noticed something that I find distressing of late though.

It has become more and more common in recent days to casually insult the intellect of players posting on the forum. Language is growing more and more inappropriate. This is, in and of itself, unacceptable in my view. Worse, is that alongside some pretty blatant insults no further useful information is being posted. Are posters required by the CoC to be 'nice'? No, they aren't. I'm not too keen on skating the edges of the code, however, as the intent is the same; to goad and harass, to put a poster 'in their place'.

I am unwilling to turn a blind eye to that kind of conduct (even when useful information is provided), and I would ask that everyone be mindful of how the content of their posts comes across. Just as none of you are whipping posts for abusive posters, neither are those posting here for help inviting the lash (even if the initial content of their post is cloaked in frustration).

All of that said, thanks for being a great community - I dislike feeling compelled to make posts of this nature, as I feel that they might appear to detract from my genuine appreciation for your presence here.

Hahaha, man, I hope not!

I still haven't completed my secret island fortress. I don't know if you've ever tried to order and ship 20,000 Ovalia Egg Chairs to an island that shifts latitude and longitude, but it's not easy.

And thank you for the responses guys. My intention definitely wasn't to offend - merely to raise awareness.

My post wasn't intended to be about any one individual, but how the community on this forum at large behaves and is perceived.

In my view it's important to keep in mind that visitors to this forum lump all the 'regulars' in with each other. Whether that's fair or not, the activities of any one active poster reflect on the attitudes and responses generated toward all those that try to provide their aid, as well as the preconceived notions of some of those that come here seeking help.

I really don't want to belabor this, so I'll likely refrain from posting further on the topic.

Just food for thought.

Sometimes I'll lock the thread and request that they re-post from an appropriate name, if it looks like they really want help.

Otherwise, I tend to just take 'the appropriate steps'.

Ahhh, I see it here, sorry. Missed your first post :)

This was done early on the 20th, that type of issue is still at roughly a week, so I'd give it just a few more days. You may very well be able to level it more quickly...I know *I* could, but then I'm a crafter/gatherer from WAY back *snicker*.

I do hope they can find a trail on this for you, gathering professions are a little trickier. I'm sure they'll be getting back with you as soon as they can.
