To clarify... Be Mine was not removed from the meta; it's still there. However, the achievement has been changed to require any six of the eight possible candies. As such, the effort involved is still present, but it's no longer quite so reliant on pure luck.

No, that's not what Kisirani meant. It's not that you only need 6/8 of the candies for that achievement, it's that you only need 6/8 of the Love is in the Air achievements to get the Love is in the Air meta-achievement, so people who got all of them except Be Mine have Love Fool on the PTR.

They did the same to the other holidays, it seems, since another thread popped up saying that Veteran Nanny is now on the CW meta.

Actually, no, it seems that you were the one who misread me, as the change is you only need 6 of 8 candies for the Be Mine! achievement.

If you're not seeing the change on Be Mine, I remind you that this change is only on the PTR at the moment. :)

WOW! This is so terribly disappointing. Seems like we will really have a welfare 310% flying mount because anyone who logged in for a few hours and got 5 packages think they deserve the achievement.

You should make the innkeepers sell Peddlefeet and Lovely Black Dresses too in 3.1.

Next time please warn us about this before so a lot of players dont waste 15h per day during the event when we could be given the same reward afterward with a lot less effort.
What happened to RNG being a serious part of the 310% mount achievement?

Sad sad sad.

You ask for a warning but I think I made it pretty clear in the pile of posts made on this topic that we were reviewing things after it was done, this isn't a change we have had planned since the new year. Based on how the achievement worked we feel this is a fair change to the system as it currently stands.

This. Exactly. What's the point of making these requirements if you're just going to cave when people throw tantrums, Blizz?

The difference is that we were not happy with how this played out. This holiday has been around for awhile and probably needs a makeover or two, but based on how it is setup with the achievements we just weren't happy with the game design so we made some changes to improve upon it.
