Pending payment Issue.

Im having a problem login into my account. When i try to log in it says my game time has expired. When i check my account on blizzard homepage It says "Account Status: Active This account is active and can be used for playing." But right under billing information it says Payment is pending. When my game time expired on the 22, and was playing fine last night. Any suggestions as to what is going on?

As you noticed, Ranier, the time on the account expired. Our system attempted to charge for the next months subscription; unfortunately, from what we've been able to see so far these payments are still pending approval.

Although we are looking into the issue in the hopes that there may be something we can do to hurry it along we simply may need to wait until the payment has fully processed.

I'll try to provide an update if our Technician find something.

It may or may not be, Dethereal, if our technicians can verify that there is some kind of hold up they may be able to get those payments pushed through sooner rather than later. We'll let you know if we receive an update on the issue. :)

Woke up this morning, was able to log onto the forums, but I could not log onto the game as I would get an error message saying "you have used up your prepaid time for this account", followed by a link to the account management page. Upon clicking the link to the account management page I entered my log in info and discovered that my account is still marked as active and available for play. I also am billed monthly, and do not use prepaid time. I checked my online banking service and everything is fine, although I did note that I was to be billed on the 22nd, as others here have posted, but I did not see a charge that had cleared for this game as of yet. Seems to me a batch of payments went unprocessed, or something similar. Although having access to the forums and not the game is odd due to a billing error.


It does appear that something happened around the 22nd, one of the things we are having checked out.

Hopefully we'll get an update, but it may not be before a bit later in the day. In the meantime, feel free to call our billing department, they may have a solution for you - or at the very least, be able to get you back into play as quickly as possible.

I do apologize for this inconvenience.

To get everyone on the same page:

We've identified an issue which is causing those payments scheduled to recur on the 22nd and 23rd of this month to remain pending. We are still working diligently towards resolution at this time; we hope to have this matter addressed and you all back in the game as quickly as possible.

While this is more of a "non"-update, I do wish you all to know that this is a priority and that those concerns you've aired herein are not being ignored. I will continue to monitor this thread and provide information as it becomes available.

That would be a situation best addressed directly with Billing & Account Services, Grumbbles. I understand that presents you with a bit of a conundrum, though I fear the Game Master department is unable to provide—or affect the provision of—compensation.

We understand how pervasive and impacting this issue is and so are working as quickly as we can to remedy it. Unfortunately, we've no solid window available to to when, exactly, a resolution will be reached—for this, I do sincerely apologize.

May I encourage those posting herein to attempt to relog into the game at this time?

If you are unable to access our client and continue to receive an error message, please let me know: 1) If you were able to contact Billing and 2) what the date of your recurring subscription is.

We are aware that many accounts are still unable to access the game and thus continue to monitor the situation. It appears, however, that this issue is slowly resolving itself; if you are still experiencing difficulty, we encourage you to remain patient and check back in the half hour.
