Before I reply to you wholly, Ningaman, may I ask if you currently posting from your home (or most often used) computer?

In that case, Ningaman, I would encourage both you and your friend (the owner of the account on which you are posting) to begin by securing your accounts' information.

Steps by which to do this may be found here:

As you are accessing your friend's account from a computer which may be hosting a key logger, it's very important that your friend works to bolster his account's security, as well. This was the nature and reasoning for my first question. :)

After you've secured your computer, go ahead and read the rest of our ** Account Compromise Info Center ** sticky, which I've linked above. For reference, though, here's the primary URL:

Following, if you've any questions at all about the reporting or restoration processes, please let me know. I'll be certainly happy to assist in any way possible.

Q u o t e:
how will i get my money and armor and weapons back

If you read through the sticky I noted, Ningaman, this information will be provided. :)

Once more, for reference:

Please begin with the section entitled "Securing Your Account"; it's the third post within the thread. Once you've ensured that your computer is secure—a process which should be completed prior to reporting any loss—go ahead and progress through each following post.

Now, with that said, the reason I'm encouraging you to review the sticky in full is because there's a plethora of advice and suggestions included therein. For those questions you possess at present, an answer is likely provided.

If after reading, however, you find that you've additional questions, please let me know. I'll be happy to dialogue with you further. :)

Q u o t e:
migght u be able to explain to me what a blizzard authenticator is and recommend any new ways to get rid of a key logger

A Blizzard Authenticator is not a necessary or required element of safe game play, Ningaman, though it will bolster one's security quite noticeably.

As noted within the post linked:

Q u o t e:
This device works by providing a secure keycode upon command that will be unique to your account and your account alone. The keycode will be necessary for each client and Account Management log in once an Authenticator is attached, making your account nigh-impenetrable to brute force or keylogger attacks.

When a Blizzard Authenticator is attached to an account, another variable will be introduced to the log in process. In addition to inputting one's account name and password, one will also have to enter a key code generated by a linked Blizzard Authenticator. This key code will be necessary for both client and Account Management log ins.

In order to generate a key code, one will push a small button on the face of the Authenticator fob (a small, black device that can be attached to a key ring). Which this button is pushed, a unique key code is created; this code is only valid for a short period of time and may only be used by the account to which it is linked.

More information may be found here:

It's important to understand, though, that the acquisition of an Authenticator will not wholly supplant the need to the maintain safe browsing and secure login information. :)

Q u o t e:
i just want the key logger of would u be able to recommend any new 1s i tried those and urs

If using those programs already installed on your computer or suggested within our ** Computer Security Recommendations ** sticky are proving unsuccessful, you may wish to try reformatting your computer, as Thunderwulf has suggested.

Be be sure to create a new email address, too, and register it when you are able!
Q u o t e:
Along with account names and passwords, it's possible for registered email addresses to be compromised, as well. Because of this, we encourage you to update your registered email address as quickly as possible to prevent repeat compromise.

It's also important that you do not simply re-register an old or currently-active address. Any email address which may have been in use at the time of compromise may be at risk, so it's best to set up a new one from a computer you know to be secure.

When selecting the username and password for this new email address, ensure that these variables do not overlap with that of your WoW account or any other login type (guild websites, Facebook, MySpace, etc). Once this address is registered to your account, do not use it for anything else: no additional registrations, no guild websites, no newsletter sign-ups, et al. Keep this address isolated.

Should you be unable to register this new address yourself, please contact our Billing & Account Services Department for assistance.

Ninjaman, please read everything I'm about to write. :)

Our Billing offices are currently closed at this time; I fear you will not receive a response until Monday.

With that said—and this regardless of whether or not you complete a reformat of your system—please create a new email address at this time. Ensure that the login name and password for this address do not overlap up with your WoW account in any way; also ensure that these variables do not overlap with any other online service login (ie - MySpace, Facebook, PizzaHut.com, etc).

If you are not able to register this new address yourself this weekend, that's alright; have it at the ready for when you contact Billing by phone on Monday. Our representatives therein will be happy to assist with this update of information and will, as well, likely help you reset your password.

You may wish to try reporting your account's compromise from the account on which you are posting. While this method may not guarantee any immediate action—as we will typically only accept reports from the registered owner of the account affected—it is something you can try in the meantime.

Please follow the reporting method listed here:

Q u o t e:
Submitting an in-game petition is an effective way of reporting an account compromise. If you have never utilized our in-game petition system before—or if you simply wish to learn of a good format for reporting a compromise—then the following steps will likely be helpful.

To begin, access the In-Game Knowledge Base (the little, red "?" icon located within your navigation tray) and click on "Talk to a GM." From there, click on the "Open a Ticket" button and then, within the text field, include details regarding your compromise:
  • Whether or not any characters have been transferred
  • If characters have been transferred, which ones—include both original name and realm
  • Whether or not characters have been deleted
  • If character have been deleted, which ones—include both name and realm
  • Whether or not inventories have been purged or sold
  • Whether or not gold is missing
  • If gold is missing, in what amount
  • If a guild bank was affected

Click "Submit" and you're done. This information will assist our in-game staff greatly in initiating your account's investigation and restoration processes.

(Alternatively, you may also email this information to [email protected] from your account's registered email address.)

In addition, please list the name of your account (the one that's compromised) somewhere within your petition. You may wish to preface your report with "I wish to report the possible compromise of account <ACCOUNTNAME>" and then continue with the bulleted information.
