Will we be seeing the return the purchasing mounts with brewfest holiday currency like back in '07 ?

Or will it be another grind Coren and hope a mount drops ?

Currently there are no changes planned to the mount drops. Have you and your friends level up your/their alts and be ready to beat him up for the mount you deserve!

Q u o t e:

I do believe that would be a violation of the ToS.

fix't

Q u o t e:

The so-called friends who lose interest after they get theirs, right? :P

Such friends should be fired imo. :-p

Q u o t e:
Will Direbrew receive any changes to reflect the new max-level? Will the min-level to summon remain 65?

I would expect treatment similar to the Headless Horseman.

Q u o t e:

This is worded poorly.

Should be:
Have your friends level up their alts.

Since having your friends help you PL your alts won't help you because if you're looking for the item for your main, you need their alts to get you extra summons.

Though it could work both ways, since if you have a lot of alts, your friends would be willing to cycle through theirs for you when you cycle yours for them. Which is how I got my rams and kodo. Last year I had 7 toons that I could cycle through for summons, so others with alts used their summons for me, and me for them.

So, alternate suggestion: You and your friends should level up alts to get more total summons

Oh I just threw every your/their thing in there, you knew what I meant and that's the most important part.

Shenanigans!

Hi Bornakk,

On a similar topic, how come people didn't get credit for the achievement to kill Direbrew when they've obtained a mount that clearly only drops from this boss? Not that it's very difficult to get this particular achievement, but the lack of consistency in what Blizzard gives retroactive credit for is appalling.

Like another person said, we generally don't try and give retroactive credit on 5 person bosses. That said, it shouldn't cause much of a problem as he'll still be there with lots of people looking to whack him next year which is where the first "cycle" of the meta achievement is achievable.

Q u o t e:
thanks for the reply Bornakk.

While your strolling through the office, pop in to the holiday event developers and suggest a little 5% increase to their drop rates, you know you want to =]

If your Orcish charm doesn't work then you can always try the Orc smash :P

I don't want to risk them orc smashing me first. ;-)
