Bornakk, did you find Be Mine fun?

In a locked thread, Bornakk, you said

Q u o t e:
I completed all of the Love Fool achievements, it was close and took about 50 tries, but I completed it. Some people here did, some didn't.

Thanks for this. The next question I wanted to ask though is: Did you all have fun completing it? Do you think that based on "how close it was" that the achievement is in fact working as intended?

And, I know you said previously, that you all are looking into the achievement and that a fix may be impletented (though it may be in the future). Any further news you can give us on this?

I enjoyed it myself... to a degree, I wouldn't say the event or specifically this achievement went as smoothly as I/we would like it to.

Thanks again Bornakk for putting this girl a bit at ease. If you just answer my last question, I may fall in love with you forever. So so...throw us a bone. Any news/developments on the "looking into" part (and by that I mean before next year)?

(Resposting this to make sure a Blue sees it before its buried by additional comments)

There is currently no news/developments on the "looking into" since my last post on the matter.

I would hate to think that Blizzard didn't adhere to the hard fast rule of event planning and management and NOT have a post-event wrap up to analyze the event, summerize consumer reaction to the event, and develop a plan for future events based on both. Running a business without looking at previous performances would be ludicrous.

What I read in the quote above is:

"There is currently no news/developments that we are willing to share with you regarding our post event analysis and subsequent thoughts about the future events"

Much to our dismay, they'll tell us what they want, when they want and because the flame factor is so high in these forums, they won't do so until they have it set in stone (or at least wet cement)...

Phrase it as you like, but you are pretty much right. Until we have something we can publicly state, we can't really say what is happening, it's like this for a lot of things really. You are right in that it would be crazy if the day the event ended we just say "yay it's over, see you in 360 days!" - We do look ahead as well as behind on a lot of these things, I just don't have any information to share regarding this and when we do, we'll let you know.

Essay Question: Did you think Be Mine! was fair? Why or why not? Papers due at the end of the week.

Well if you want to use the word "fair", then yes, it was fair as there was no direct disadvantage from one player to another.

And I am not in school, I don't write essays when the answer can be given in one sentence - my teachers never liked me bringing this idea up.
