Like IRL, WoW economy is dead

Crafting proffesions are dead, everyone jumped on the bandwagon and now im lucky if i can sell any of my gems above 30g. Gathering proffesions are dead, a stack of Saronite sells for 15g on my server.

Why should i even bother doing either of these at this point? Unless you spend all day playing auction house games you're not making any money at all. Sorry, my idea of fun is not participating in an e-market, i get paid to do that IRL.

You Had to have been there in the beggining to have made any gold, because even dailies take hours at a time to do because everything is camped to hell, and these kind of quests only support griefing.

When 3.1 comes blizzard really needs to do something to stabilize the economy, as rapid deflation is killing any hopes for new players to get money. Epic gems, a new rarer ore, rewards from skinning and different herbs in addition to new craftable epic items that are atleast compareable to dungeon blues.
