Retarded... ok to use?

Why wasnt this post locked, deleted, or title changed instead of just moved? I find the use of retarded offensive, and im confused why it is let through the filter so easily.

This is the same as someone using a slur of a persons sexual preference as an insult. Clearly it wasn't intended as "slow" but as reference to mental retardation or another disability.
