Hey Mal, not sure what its doing here no windows in my cave er I mean office. lol But other then that, going slow, wish it would speed up. Need down time, no phones no more tech support calls, no more cranky customers.

May your day be as trouble and worry free as possible.

*sets out a lil basket of treats and cat nip

Thank you kindly =3.

Hrmmmm...

I wonder how well catnip goes with filet mignon and bernaise sauce. *Applies goggles*

It's time for SCIENCE!

Any suggestions?

My one and only recommendation for motherboards... always get one a little bit better than you originally intended; otherwise you'll find yourself needing a new one as soon as the other technology in your computer needs updating.

You just don't want to find yourself in a position where you have to buy an entirely new computer because you didn't get a decently high-end/new motherboard. =/

I'm well my friend.

How are things in your world? I miss our tete a tetes.

Glad to hear you are well, mate!

As for me. . . I'm still realizing just how important it was for me to move back to Ca. I enjoyed my time away, don't get me wrong, but there was a lot missing. :0)

Only for a week, silly. I didn't move out there, though I would gladly should the opportunity arise. I did move back from the Austin office like two weeks after my trip, though.

So, this has me curious...

How is your French?
Was language (provided your French isn't so hot) much of a barrier while working?

I didn't know any French going out there. Really, like a phrase or two, and that was it. I was a bit nervous about that, but it wasn't a problem at all. Especially in the office. I worked in the English GM area, so I was able to understand everyone just fine. Meeting the German CS Forum reps was fine as well, as they both speak English very well.

I think the hardest thing for me was when I got lost for four hours, thanks to the Metro. My ticket had been chewed up by the machine on the way in, and I had to deal with that, as well as try and remember how to get back to where I was staying. . . as I said it took me four hours. >.<
