Frequent DC's in Raid Instances

For the past 3 weeks I've been having a serious problem disconnecting in game. It usually happens in Naxx, both during trash pulls and during boss fights. I've tried turning down my graphics settings to a minimum, making sure i'm not runnign any programs in the background and nothing has worked. I'm fairly certain it's not a problem with my ISP because Vent still works fine, I just get disconnected from WoW. It's pretty much caused me to lose my raid spot because i can't stay online for bosses and log back in only to find myself dead in a void zone or something.

Also related to disconnecting but not during a raid, i've been taking a really really long time on loading screens lately too, sometimes getting DC'ed before I load in.

My computer isn't lacking anything in the way of performance itself. good amount of ram, good grpahics card, loads of free space. My ISP provides a good connection and low ping yet still I get DC'ed frequently in raids.

Someone please help me figure out what I can do.

Edit: To any GM or player who reads this, it is not related to the raid wide lag issues I had been dealing with before but is instead an issue isolated to me while the rest of my raids performance is fine.

Yep. pretty much describes my problem. Only difference at all is that I can actually log back in during boss fights. it's really hurting my own raid perfomance alogn with my guild as a whole since it's affecting things like "Shocking" and "The Immortal".

Slow loading screens all around are ftl though.

A GM's insight would be helpful though I guess they've seen this problem before. Any word on a fix?

Indeed I have, and I wouldn't be so quick to rule out a misbehaving addon.

It may not be YOUR addon in a raid, it can easily be someone else's. I've seen it in action, personally.

To test whether or not this may be part of the issues, EVERYONE in the raid has to disable all addons AND reset their UI. Joey can't sit back in the corner thinking he'll just not bother, it could easily be HIS that are the problem.

Misbehaving mods can spam literally thousands of error messages in just split seconds, that can knock some folks offline.

All it takes is one in a raid.

I'd recommend giving this a try, see if it helps at all. Resetting the UI is important in addition to disabling the addons because sometimes changes are made in those 3 folders, they need to be fresh and untouched to test this. Rename/move or delete the WTF, Cache and Interface folders in your WoW directory, reboot your system. If you are running Vista, make sure the permissions are set so that it doesn't undo this change on you and actually does take.
