If you have already downloaded patch 6.0.2, played and walked away only finding ALL the servers to now be incompatible in red then do this:

Restart your battlenet app. It will then download the next patch which is 6.0.2.19033.
It is a small patch and should take around 5-10 minutes to get you back up and running again.

Thanks Meowcher! (is that Cher as a cat?) In most cases of servers claiming mismatched versions, or incompatible, or anything that may sound like the version the server is running is different than the one your client is running, it's probably more accurate than you might think it could be. Completely quit, close down the Battle.net desktop app, relaunch, and in most cases your client will get your game updated and ready to rock.

Okay as "happy joy joy" as that blue sounded, there are those of use who have already tried this to no avail. There must be an underlying issue here, ive spent well over 30 min (after doing above said "recovery measures) only to be met with the classic red download progress bar and the even better text accompanying it, "Initializing".

Sorry to hear that. If you're having more severe or different patching or login issues, or that solution just didn't work, I'd recommend heading to the Tech Support forum. Lots of helpful stickies, people, and potentially others seeing your same issue.
