Beta Realm Maintenance - 10/4/14

Greetings All!

The Beta realms will be shutting down for maintenance in a few minutes in order to deploy a new build. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them. I don't have an exact ETA yet, but these pushes usually take around 8 hours, give or take a few.

I'll be leaving this thread open for general discussion as long as people remain civil and follow forum rules.

No character wipe is planned today.

The closer to live.. the more down time we will be looking at. At least we can hope.. unlike yesterday... when it does come back up at some point today.. we don't get auto death from looting mobs.. at least we got a heads up afterwards that the murlocks were on the move again

Actually at some point the number of new builds will drop off to pretty much zero, once we narrow it down to a solid Release Candidate.

I didn't! I didn't even use shortly!

We're in the process of releasing 18988 to the Beta BNET app. Restart if you don't get prompted to update shortly.

Realms are still down, they'll be up a bit after the update is downloadable.

Closing this thread out as maintenance has completed.

I don't think we're pushing any builds tomorrow, so you folks should have some time to get some testing in if you're free.
