Socket Requires Blacksmithing (400)

Hello, I recently dropped Blacksmithing because I want to pursue Jewelcrafting again. But now, on both my Tank set and PvP set, I have an annoying "Socket Requires Blacksmithing (400)" on my gloves and bracer, and both gems are inactive.

I'm not asking to recover the gems, nor am I asking to reactivate them, I simply want those 2 to be gone and for the annoying red messages near each of those pieces of gear to go away.

Is it possible for a GM to assist me in this? Or is there another way to get rid of them?

I'm afraid that we are unable to remove these extra sockets, Particles. You would need to recreate/reacquire the items altogether to remove this message. You're welcome to suggest a change regarding the was this information is displayed on the Suggestions Forum, however.
