Logic behind being banishd/Turned in Meta.

I'm really trying hard to understand this. By going deep meta, a warlock gives up a number of very useful tools in order to get to things like Meta. Meta itself seems to be designed with a much more pvp focus then pve.

So....if Meta was NOT susceptible to banish/turn evil, would that really make it overpowered? For a class that already has few hard breaks (iceblock, dispersion etc), giving classes another effective cc against us seems...just kind of silly.

As it stands, a demo warlock (in 2's at least) is nearly hard-countered by any haunt/healer team. As demo is not the predominant lock spec right now, and warlocks are not in the greatest pvp shape anyway, would it not make sense to toss Meta a bit of a bone?

Agree/Disagree here with reasons.

We are okay (for now) with exposing yourself to CC if you use certain abilities.

However, the glyph of Turn Evil turning that spell into an instant cast is probably a problem and something we are likely to fix.
