Recruit A Friend - Grant Levels Question.

K so I bought another account aside from this one to be able to run myself through dungeons to level alts faster. I used the recruit a friend feature to invite my 2nd account.

On the new account I can grant levels to lower lvl toons on the first account, but it doesnt work the other way around. If I try and grant levels from my first account to lower lvl toons on the 2nd one, itll say "you havent earned enough levels to grant any to this character". So can I not grant levels from my vet account to the referred one? Or is something wrong?

i.e. try and grant from lvl 18 pally on vet account to lvl 5 rogue on 2nd one doesnt work.

If it should be allowed then is it possible that the problem is for all the toons that ive tried it with on the first account havent actually quested and i just granted them levels from a higher lvl toon on the 2nd account then tried to grant levels back using the vet account to lower lvl toons on the 2nd.


i.e. lvl 30ish druid on 2nd account grants lvl 5 pally on 1st account to lvl 18. This works. Then I try and use that lvl 18 pally to grant a few lvls to a lvl 5 rogue on the 2nd account. This doesnt work.

I’m sorry for any misunderstanding, Haysten, but this is working as it should. Please understand that the rules are as follows:


  • For every two levels a character on the new recruited account gains, they can "grant" a level to one of the veteran player's characters.
      The maximum number of grantable levels that can be gained by a single character is 30.
      The recruited player can decide to grant all 30 levels at once to a character on a linked account.
      The character who is being granted a level has the option to accept or decline the level grant.

      Levels can only be granted to the veteran player's account, not vice versa.
      Levels can not be granted Cross Faction.
      A character on the recruited account cannot grant a level to a character equal or higher than their own level.

  • Levels are granted to the veteran player's character by right-clicking the target player's portrait. You will see a "Grant Level" option.


Your second account is not able to grant levels back to the newly recruited account or any characters that reside there. This is part of the “perks” for the “veteran” account recruiting a new account. :0)
