Blizzard wouldn't be where they are without the players. The game wouldn't have made as any changes as it has over the years if it weren't for the players. There have been a lot of great suggestions from people of every class and spec. Some will in fact cause more imbalance and balance but a rare few have potential.
Players that put out numbers, study the mechanics of their class, a boss fight, what will work best, etc...know what they are talking about 90% of the time. They offer suggestions, input and giving their numbers which Blizzard loves to see. These are the people that know what they are talking about and shouldn't be overlooked as much as it has since wrath launched it seems.
There will always be the whines about "fix my class" and people complaining. There will also always be people crunching numbers and finding how to excel with their class. It's my opinion that Blizzard misinterprets what is said. We have all done it in these forums by quoting GC and twisting his words. Blizzard has done the same thing by mistaking a quality post/thread for nothing more than a "QQ" post.
What can be done? Better communication from the inside AND the outside. Less complaints about how broken you're class is and you're quitting the game. If your class/spec is indeed broken then give the input Blizzard needs to help fix it. QUALITY feedback goes a long way. Blizzard keeps nearly everything quiet until they are ready to bring it to the ptr. I understand keeping some things behind closed doors but the communication overall is still lacking quite a bit. We don't need a blue post in every single thread, but when you have a thread with potential it would be nice to pop in, say your two cents on it and move on. Some kind of acknowledgment of whether said idea would work or not.
There needs to be more communication about the root of the problems. It's understandable that you don't always know what the problem is right away. When you find it, telling the community at least something in regards to the issue would go a long way. Blizzard has no problem saying something is OP and it's going be scaled down. They do have a problem admitting when they nerf a talent, spell or a spec altogether it seems.
TL;DR- Less QQ from the players, more quality feedback. Blizzard needs to talk to the community more. Tell them why the class/spec is having issues. It shouldn't just stop there though. It should be for the game as a whole. I.E. if maintenance is going to be extended for X number of hours, tell us why. Improvements in communication from both sides would go a long way.
