Where has Blue Gone?

I have been reading the forums a lot lately. Complaining a lot as well.... I have checked multiple class forums, realm forums and PVP forums, with few exceptions (usually to answer questions like how do we access a mob in old content, or server transfer problems) we are not hearing anything.

No responses to thousands of complaints about spike damage in PVP.
No responses to thousands of complaints about Arena issues.
No repsonses to thousands of complaints about PVE issues and Raid issues.
No responses to thousands of complaints about Class issues.

Granted a lot of what is on these boards is complaints, at the same time its usually pretty obvious when something is waaay out of wack (see above) and we used to get some responses about what was being done.

Currently is certainly feels like everyone in virtually every forum is being totally ignored.

Just give us the money and shut-up.....

I would say you don't read these forums often enough if you don't see any responses to any of those issues.

No offense, Bornak, I'd say you don't actually play the game and sit in trade chat within the past week if you don't recognize that there are a lot of problems right now. That leads to people asking in the forum if anyone is paying attention to the issues, and mostly we are getting "Wait until ..." type answer. "Wait until..." isn't working right now because it was used as a crutch too often in the past.

It isn't helped by knowing that WoW is one of the most successful games on the market, and should have a large pool of resources. It also isn't helped when Blues give the impression that concerns boil down to "Learn2Play".

Pick a server, and listen to /2 for about 20 minutes. If you can do that without hearing the same complaints over and over again, you can justify that you are hearing the players. Some complaints have been addressed, but there are a lot of new ones that have surfaced in the last couple of weeks that need to be addressed in a more timely fashion.

"Just wait until" isn't working, blue, and while you may hate players for saying it, you need to hear it.

mmphhurgmmffff...

Sorry, all these words were just put in my mouth and it took a second to get past them. I didn't say anything like there are no issues or anything like that, I simply said that the things that were listed have had replies to them. We are continuing to address issues as they come up.

I must say I am actually suprised by the post. Thank you for your response. I dont think I should need a third party addon (pun intended) to find responses to questions. Where there is the same question posted 1000 times I think it rates a sticky response at the top of that forum (I thought that was what they were for).

Class forums usually are not responded too at least the ones I have checked, nor is PVP or Raid, I really don't understand why all the fanboys (for the record I hate that term just don't know what else to call them) keep saying quit if you don't like it or their isn't any issue or your not "entitled" to a response etc.

I was under the impression there was a moderator and that blue generally reviewed the forums for input from the player base? Is it too much to ask for a response to some of the questions left in those forums?

I didn't think I was being general in nature, I was fairly specific, Burst Damage, Class Imbalance (do I really need to specify here?), Raid Lag, WG, Arena, BGs canceling all the time (okay that ones new). Some of these issues affect me some do not but I noticed the lack of response and I am trying to understand why the forums that cover these issues do not have "sticky" responses to clarify what is being done and when we can expect some fixes? (or better yet what was already done to fix the issue, so its already been fixed!)

Regardless thank you for the blue post, it at least tells me that somebody is reading these posts.

Awhile back we added class role forums and information regularly discussed on pretty much all of the issues you mentioned, here is a link to the Damage Dealing forum: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=13395581&sid=1

We have had a number of threads up recently on Wintergrasp and Arena issues and consolidated them into the current sticky post: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=14498292816&sid=1
