25 sartharion loot scam

So a few of my guildies and I joined a group for 25 man Sartharion. We got on vent, the raid leader said normal loot rules. Once the boss dies he then says on vent "Ok I'll be selling loot to the highest bidder now."

<Removed> (80 warlock) on Drak'tharon - the raid leader and person who ninja sold the loot.
<Removed> (80 death knight) on Drak'tharon - the person receiving the gold.

Is there anything that can be done about this, or do I need to just accept getting ripped off?

You have my apologies that this transpired, however, the Game Master staff will be unable to assist in such matters.

As the Raid Leader is able to set the loot rules, and is more than welcome to choose "Master Looter" the Master Looter is then entitled to distribute the loot accordingly; this system is not a democratic looting process.

We recommend only grouping with those players that you know and trust to be Raid Leader and/or Master Looter to ensure that the outcome of the loot distribution is to your liking.
