How do I uninstall wotlk??

i'm sick of this crash message that wont go away, even if i use the built in repair bot and reset everything, it wont stop saying that the achievement file is corrupted or something. so for the love of god, how do i uninstall wotlk without uninstalling my other games????

Hi Marcilla,

I'm not sure what you mean "without uninstalling my other games." Do you mean without uninstalling WoW and BC? That isn't possible, the only way to remove WotLK is to remove everything.

Fortunately reinstalling is very simple if you have the WotLK DVD, you can simply insert it and it will install all 3 games for you. Here are steps to perform a full uninstall.

You will have to manually uninstall the game by deleting the application directory where the program was installed. The default location is "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft." If you have Windows Vista the new location may be C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft

You may also want to search your hard drive for any Warcraft related files and delete them, including your Temporary folders and the Blizzard Entertainment folder from the common files folder. These folders will normally be located at:
C:\Windows\Temp
C:\Documents and Settings\-YourName-\Local Settings\Temp
(Delete all files in these folders that you are able to. Some files may be used by other programs and not able to be deleted.)

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Blizzard Entertainment
(Select and Delete this folder)
