Two UNFAIR Achievements. Please read.

I have looked over every achievement. Every achievement is obtainable within 12 months time except for two achievements which I feel are unfair, and should be modified. (This would not be the first time an unfair achievement was modified. The mask requirement was taken out from the Hallowed be Thy name achievements, and also the obtain three pets from the Children's week achievement was taken out due to the fact it would take THREE YEARS to complete the achievement.)

The first achievement that I feel is completely unfair is the "Brew of the Year" achievement. In order to obtain these brews, you must first become a member. In order to become a member you have to pay x amount of Brewfest tickets to obtain the membership. For those just starting, they can't do it again until this fall. (There's...nearly a year.) THEN you only get one brew EACH MONTH for the next year. This achievement takes TWO YEARS to complete. The achievement for the three pets took three years and it was removed because of it. I believe this achievement should be modified to simply PURCHASE the membership FOR the brews (Which would only make people wait until this fall (Again, nearly a year). You could change the achievement so something like: "Honorary Brew Member". Or some such. Please, change this achievement so it is obtainable within a years time, not TWO. I just feel an achievement taking two years to get is quite unfair for new players or any player: For that matter.

The other unfair achievement is: "Master Angler of Stranglethorn" you have to win the STV fishing tournement. I don't know what server Blizzard was on when they decided it was a good idea to put this into the achievements for the title. Do they see how utterly many people go to those contests? It doesn't help that you can't just win it once and not do it again: I've seen the same people win them over and over and over just because they feel like "Being the winner." There are 200-600 if not WAY MORE people now trying for this achievement for the title making it nearly impossible to obtain unless your casts are just that lucky. There are no 'sweet spots' anymore they're all covered. I believe this achievement should be taken out. It could very well take a player a year, two years, three years..of fishing EVERY sunday at this tournament to get this achievement. It would be a different story if it were every day at 2:00pm... then we'd have half a chance when children were in school and the kids could do it on the weekends. But as it stands this achievement is very unfair. I have been honestly trying for this achievement every sunday with no luck, the same with 20 others I see every sunday. We are only getting frustrated our hard work and determination are not paying off and seemingly, never will.

I ask Blizzard, you please revise these achievements

I am asking the readers of this post to take these two achievements into consideration and give your thoughts. I am not QQ'ing, I am simply stating I feel they are unfair. They may not be changed, but we could hope they are.

What troubles have you had? What do you feel about these two achievements? Fair, or unfair?

We're okay with certain achievements taking an exceptional amount of time or dedication to earn. We feel it fits with the nature of achieving something not everyone else has or will.

Q u o t e:

Why do Death Knights have to wait a whole extra year for the Brew of the Month achievement that is needed for the Purple Proto-Drake?

The actual answer is because your class didn't exist before November of last year, and I think you know that.

Now, with an achievement like this I can't even do that for the year if I want it because I need to log on at least once a month just to drink some booze.

That is just crap.

It sounds like you're arguing that this isn't something everyone should want or need to achieve.

He wasn't asking for the literal answer, he was after the rationale behind it, and I think you know that.

As a hero class in World of Warcraft, death knights get a great many perks other classes do not. I'm not sure it's worth justifying the need for them to have compensation for getting to the Brewfest achievement late.
