Why the Warlock fix can't wait.

I know the common consensus has been that Warlocks need some sort of damage boost, which I'm not going to dispute. But, - I - feel that more importantly, we need some MAJOR help concerning our survivability.
Most people are dying fast right now, burst damage is high. I feel that as a whole we are slightly more vulnerable to said burst damage. And I know more than a few of you will agree with me.

HOWEVER, I did not come in here to beat a dead horse. We all know this right?

I came in here to ask a legitimate question do the Devs at Blizzard. One that concerns me most of all.

You say that you are working on fixes to our class, to be released within the next two patches...More than likely the patch after next. I appreciate that you are looking into the issues that have been brought up here. BUT....
Most other classes, the ones you see at the top of the arena ladder as we speak (Death Knight, Paladin, Mage and Rogue for the most part) have gotten a jump on getting their arena gear. They made their teams when they hit 80, and have been since racking up the arena points.

I don't dare step foot in arena. And I know most other locks don't as well, looking at the arena teams.

So my question:

Why is it our class has to wait several months for this "fix" while we sit without our arena teams, points, and gear?

By the time we DO get into arena after said fix, I feel it will be too late for us. We will most undoubtedly be outgeared by the time this happens. And that will make it incredibly difficult for us to compete and progress up the arena ladder.

Again, I did not come in here to complain or cry or bring up the same regurgitated crap over and over. But being a PVP oriented Warlock, I would really like to be able to earn some arena gear with the rest of my friends and peers on WoW.

Thanks,
Never

We have no problem with criticism on these forums, including your views on PvP. Player feedback helps us make decisions.

However this is not a forum for insulting Blizzard developers or business models if you don't get your way. The last several posters who chose to go that route have been banned.

If you have trouble telling the difference between a constructive post and a rant, you usually cross over when you stop talking about WoW and start talking about Blizzard.
