Achievements are bad! - Blue Tracker

Especially when they get broadcast in guild chat...its even worse when you are doing a raid with another guild, in content your guild is supposed to be doing...but didn't have enough on to do...and that your guild leader happens to see this achievement...and asks what the hell are you doing, and you don't have a good answer because you FORGOT the damn thing is broadcast in guild!!

Seriously, is there some way to turn that off.

So the problem isn't achievements but that you were doing something someone else in the guild didn't want you doing and while it was clear in the guild text that you were in that instance, they didn't notice until the achievement popped up... ?

Well, the achievement spam is kind of irritating.

It may spike here and there, but after awhile it dies down as people pickup the easy achievements and makes it more fun to see people getting them done, at least that's how it works for me. And you gotta love when a big achievement is done and a big pile of people get an achievement, that always get a /cheer from me.
