Reward for achievements, titles? who cares

Is there ever going to be something worthwhile given for achievements other than useless titles ? For all the time and work required to do achievements, (which is blizzards way of keeping us busy because of lack of content) . some real , useful awards (such as gear, abilities) need to be awarded or is it just another vanity pet?

To many of us, the titles and vanity items are worth far more than "gear."

If the gear is a great upgrade then it feels more like we are forcing players to complete whatever the achievement is too. If you are interested in achievements then things like tabards, titles, pets, and mounts are probably quite appealing.
