Realm Connectivity Issues - 1/09

Greetings all--

We are currently looking into connectivity issues that are affecting several players across multiple realms and battlegroups. Please isolate all discussion of this issue in this thread as all other threads will be locked and/or deleted.

Updates will be made as soon as more information becomes available.

Our technicians are aware Misha being offline and are currently working to resolve the issue. Additional information will be provided when available.

Causality isn't always proof of an issue; it's quite possible that you notice that only your realm is offline because it's offline while you want to play.

This does not mean that Misha is the only realm that happens to experience periodic issues.

The realm should be back online and accepting players at this time. Please let us know if any further issues are experienced.

The issue with Misha's instances is currently being looked into.

I've utilized this thread to prevent the constant spamming of new threads so that we can have all the relevant information that needs to be sent to our technicians in one place.

We are currently working to resolve the issues with Misha and hope to have the realm up and running at full capacity here shortly.

The issue with the character list is being investigated as we speak. I'll let you know when I receive an update.

Try this for me: exit the World of Warcraft completely; wait 5-10 minutes and then try again.

Good morning, all.

We are aware of lasting log-in issues surrounding the realm Misha. We are currently working to have this resolved as quickly as possible; however, we do not yet have an ETA to provide.

If you're receiving the error message: "Error Retrieving Character List -- please try the following workaround that your fellow Mishans have reported:

1. Log in. If you are presented with the "Unable to retrieve.. " error, click "ok", then hit "Change realm".

2. Pick another realm. Actually load the list from it. Then, click "change realm" again, and pick Misha.

3. Repeat the second step until you have your list.

Should any more information become available, I'll be sure to update you all here.
