As more and more time goes by its becoming more and more evident how unnecessary the hunter nerfs in the upcoming patch, particularly BM, are.

The above report is one of many, that are all fairly similar from my 25 man group, i suppose we would be classified as "hardcore" raiders and the majority of us know how to play our classes extremely well with a few exceptions. In the above report you will notice that, on no fight, other than Razzuvious, is their a clear and catastrophic lead among any of the dps classes with many of us exchanging 1st depending on the fight. Razzuvious you'll notice i hit an auto shot for 80 some thousand and my pet melee for 40 some thousand due to what seems to be a bug on the apprentices after you kill the instructor.

If anything, you would say this report shows classes being somewhat balanced, with warriors winning on the average.

I think the upcoming BM nerfs, other than BW being taken off of Rediness, are utterly unnecessary and hastily put together. My only rational explanation for them at this point is that blizzard is planning on buffing SV to the point of making it the most desirable raid spec, for whatever reason.

If that is the case, and you guys are planning on changing SV to be a very effective spec, similar to BM or MM now, i suppose the nerfs are understandable in wanting to change the way hunters raid. If the nerfs turn out to be laughable, witch they very well may, you guys are deliberately hurting the hunter class in playability and making it ARGUABLY the least effective class in a raid, i know particularly warlocks seem to be hurting right now.

All of this leads me to my question for GC. Why are you guys nerfing, in comparison to other top dps classes, a balanced dps class ?

The kind of feedback we're looking for:

-- I have trouble with getting away from melee in Arenas.
-- I don't like this talent This other talent is a much better expenditure of talent points.
-- I can't figure out a way to fit this spell in my rotation.
-- I find this mechanic confusing. (Or even, I love the way this works.)
-- Under these conditions, this spell behaves strangely.
-- This spell might be bugged.
-- My dps is low in this situation.
-- I don't want to use this item because it interferes with this mechanic.
-- I'm not having fun because of this reason. (Or even, I'm having fun for this reason.)

The kinds of feedback we're not interested in:

-- Blizzard hates my class.
-- Blizzard neglects my class.
-- GC never posts where I want him to post.
-- Blizzard's testing methodology is flawed.
-- I don't understand why Blizzard designed the class in this way.
-- Warlock tears nom nom nom.
-- Blizzard wants us all to reroll.
-- Blizzard has no idea what to do with my class.
-- Blizzard doesn't understand how the spells they designed work.
-- I am mad because you didn't use my idea.
-- Nobody at Blizzard plays my class.
-- Why won't you fix our problems?

It isn't 100% true, but often when you stop talking about WoW, the game, and start talking about Blizzard, the company or us as designers, you've crossed over.
