120% Demon Armor buff

Is there anything wrong with my logic here, please, tell me if I'm wrong:

NERF: The bonus armor was taken away from warlocks (and other classes). This now gave our pvp sets LESS armor than at 70.

Buff: Demon Armor and Demon Skin: Armor increased by approximately 120%.

Don't they even themselves out about? Isn't this just a "oops, we made a mistake, let's give them back the armor we took away. This isn't a buff, this is fixing a mistake. Am I wrong?

Since its currently 950 for max rank, it stands to reason that the rank will be:

950 * 2.2 = 2090

Since the note says 'about 120%', that probably means they landed on 2100 for the new armor value.

This is correct.
