Does GC actually arena?

Seriously, GC have you ever done arena or are you just thinking of the past and looking at peoples comments?

I love what you do for PvE the stuff you do makes it seem like you know where everything stands in PvE, and you having done PvE.

But, what are you judging your facts from? I think it would be so much different if you sat down and did arena 1500-1900 and see how it is for healers.

I do Arenas. 2s, 3s and 5s. I mostly heal.

But let's follow this line of questioning for a bit:

Well, I bet he doesn't play my class....
Well, even if he does play my class, I bet he doesn't have a 2000 rating....
Well, even if he does have a 2000 rating, I bet he doesn't have it WITH EVERY CLASS SO THERE.

Ultimately, it's irrelevant. If you're having fun and I didn't play WoW at all, then it really wouldn't matter. If you aren't having fun and I was a Gladiator all 5 seasons then it still wouldn't matter. I know Gladiators, and some of them have an excellent sense of balance and make good suggestions and some of them have no idea how to design the game, but sure can play it.

Regardless of anything else, we're going to be judged by the end result. We just need to stay in touch with the community to make informed decisions.

Can you elaborate? That doesn't sound like something I'd say. Players can go into Arenas with PvE gear and do very well, especially right now. It's not the healers though. It's also not ultimately how we would like Arenas to work. The whole design of the Arena tiers is that the gear is desirable, and, along with your skill, allows you to advance to higher echelons of matches.

I think the more jaded among us are just weary from seeing so many "GC must not play an X because otherwise we'd get more buffs and cool spells" posts. I think the basic question is legit, but usually it gets used as a (weak) argument: not only do I disagree with the decision, but I disagree with it so emotionally that I am going to accuse the decision maker of being ignorant or malicious.
