Has anyone else quit? =/

I haven't really logged in to actually do anything in the game since before the Holidays. Account ends tomorrow and I'm not renewing it. I, am not a child- so stop spoon feeding me and all the other people in this game that miss the actually challenge and effort you had to put into the game to achieve things, Blizzard, then maybe I'll come back.

Anyway. Has anyone else quit? Took a break? Anything?

Well, we can agree to disagree, I think enough people understood where I was coming from to validate my original point.

Your comment that "most people leave, they don't feel a need to post" is very easily interpreted as "why did you bother to post, you should just leave".

Really no other reason to point that out to the original poster, now is there?

He questioned the motives behind someone's post on a discussion forum. I think you're overreacting, to be quite honest. I don't mean to be disrespectful at all, but it just seems your replies in this thread are overly defensive on a matter that is trivial.

Well, honestly I don't think the subject matter behind the whole thing is all that trivial. So I think the poster is entitled to his point of view even if I disagree with him.

We all are here because this is a major thing in our lives. We put lots of hours into the game and many of us get emotional about things surrounding the game.

This is something that's been killing me for ages. Why do people post goodbye posts? On reflection, there's probably as many reasons as there are goodbye posts. I'm just happy I got some responses this time around.

I think you can easily recognize that I wasn't referring to the original subject matter as being trivial. In any case, Crepe, were you to have the opportunity to learn more about why players make "quit" posts, I very much believe you'd find that the answer differs depending upon the human being behind the avatar.
