Cant log on server after restart

Wifes account is able to log in, same thing as last restart.

Are you both on Baelgun - and are you both logged out in the same area. It won't let ANY of your characters on Kid?

Dalaran does not like addons. Try turning them off and logging in.

World Server down is referring to a specific location, like Eastern Kingdoms, etc.

That normally rectifies itself in a few minutes.

The Dalaran issue is usually addons. Star's Rest is in Northrend, so it's obviously available as a continent.

ok how do i disable the add ons if im not able to log on to that server and access the add ons list, Remove them from the add ons folder ?

You can do a UI reset. Rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders, reboot.

That should also clear out your addons.

I recommened ONE player try that, since his wife could log in and he could not, he was using addons, and his toon was in Dalaran.

Yes, many realms are having issues getting back up at the moment, but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone is having the same issue.

Yeah, if you are getting hung at that point, it's not you - the realm isn't fully up yet.

Another weird thing happened last night. I kept seeing everyone as "unknown" and then got kicked from the server. Happened about 3x before it stopped and I could stay on.

What's a WTF folder?

Actually, it could be - or is more usually connectivity. Severe lag or dropped packets will do that.

i don't mean to be blunt but blizzard never gives us players any information. all we get is excuses.

Absolutely nothing with that - they can have everything to do with not being able to login to Dalaran on a realm that is accessbile.

They are still working on the remainder of the realms not yet accessible.

Anyone still having this issue - and NOT on Blood Furnace, Dawnbringer or Galakrond? Those are still being addressed.
