I was thinking of offering the 100,000 copies of "Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties" on laser disc I received for Christmas.

I for one don't appreciate jokes instead of the serious response the issue deserves.

The answer at this time is not to provide experience incentives for players to transfer. We are reviewing realm populations, wait times, and faction balances at the moment to determine what solutions will work best. We'll provide additional updates when they are available.

Here's an idea. Upgrade the servers on any realm that has ques of 500+ and up the player limit by 1000. Not exactly rocket science.

.

In most cases, particularly for the realms experiencing the longest wait times, this has already been done. We're looking to open up more free transfers very soon and are continuing to monitor realm populations.

Another night of Blizzard deleting threads about the problem instead of addressing them.

Those aren't mutually exclusive. You say this as though the forum moderators, paid to moderate the forums, do so at the expense of those who are charged with monitoring and balancing realm populations. Either that or you mean that posting more threads about the issue will cause it to fix itself.

Neither is the case.

AKA, never.

You've had four years to predict and assess the population fluctuations and you're only doing it after it gets worse?

Data from January of last year does little to help us foresee the current populations on each realm, if that's what you're suggesting.

Yes, lets ignore the fact you guys just release a new expansion pack after boasting 11.5 million subscribers.

Who cares about last January, the time is now.

The time is: as soon as possible.

Players are a lot less forgiving when we provide quick, but potentially damaging solutions to an issue than they are when we take the time to make sure the wait times are reduced while realm stability is improved. The latter isn't going to happen now, regardless of the amount of threads made about it.

Expansion pack + New players = Queues.

That's a gross over-simplification of matters. I'll respond with equivalent simplicity by letting you know there are plenty of low-population realms without wait times on which you're welcome to play this very moment.

The only question i have is directed towards Zarhym. Do you think they will fix this by offering free xfers? or will they open up a new server or two for free xfers from like 20 servers.

Since you asked in such a simple and polite manner...

We're looking to open up free transfers for a number of high-population PVP realms to low-population PVP realms as soon as the request goes through the appropriate people. We would also like to make a new PVE realm available and open it up for free transfers from a number of high-population PVE realms. Lastly, we're looking to open up free transfers to Gundrak from the high-population Oceanic PVP realms.

These are only the most immediate of solutions and we'll provide additional details if and when the request is granted.
