Draenei Warrior - Defensive Stance Quest

First; I am new to this game. I am now a level 24 Draenei Warrior wanting to be a tank. However, I was unaware of the Defensive Stance quest. I talked to the warrior trainer in Ironforge AND Azure Watch, but cannot get the quest. I looked at the wowiki and went to the tavern in old town, but the drunk wouldn't talk to me.

Now I am a Tank wannabe with no Defensive Stance.... How do I correct this?

Okay, I did a little research, and it looks like you did the optional quest Elanaria. This sets you on the Night Elf defensive stance quest - so you'll need to pay a visit to Elanaria in Darnassus again, and complete the Vorlus Vilehoof quest that is currently in your quest log if you'd like to acquire your Defensive Stance, Taunt and Sunder Armor abilities.
