GC, why are you working?!

I'm going to be out of town for a few days. I may not be able to post much so I was trying to put in some extra time tonight. In the past these forums tended to unravel if players thought their feedback wasn't being heard as evidenced by, in their minds, lack of blue posts.

The truth is, you don't need a blue post to make a good thread good. We'll still read it. The sadder truth is that blue posts are often the worst thing to happen to a thread. :)

I just don't want to ever lose touch with what it's like to be on the other side. That was me not too long ago.

Thanks for the support, Hail, but as many late nights as I have put in, it's nothing compared to the work you're doing. Even my worst days are totally safe (minus the occasional disgruntled player) and ultimately a lot of fun. You deserve far more gratitude than I ever will.

GC has done some good things for Survival too, don't get me wrong. Explosive Shot is nothing short of genius, and the buff to its' coefficient is likely going to make the Surv mobile playstyle genuinely viable in PvE for the first time literally since this game's release.

I just want to give credit where credit is due. I may be the public face, but I'm just one guy on an amazing team of class designers. Furthermore, the entire WoW team is a pretty big group these days, and many of them are just as passionate as many of you. We hear their feedback, criticism and great ideas all the time. I had nothing to do with many of the best ideas in the game.

Many of the people on the WoW dev team also read these forums. Those guys pay an awful lot of attention to what you guys say, even if they don't post as often as I do.
