Oh, we just tend not to do it as it can lead to a bit of confusion if there had been a bit of discussion about the issue. But, as I was just telling them — since they were so nice about the mistake — that I was sending him over, it's not a big deal. =)

And it's pretty specifically the ones that request to go to the Suggestions forums that we do not move.

Hm.. that's strange. I've seen about no more than 10 Blizzard posts within threads in the Suggestions forum that were moved from another forums (Tech Support, Customer Service).

We're not all Robots...

Q u o t e:
You cant even count on your own family members to come clean and try and work things out over something that could potentially tear whats left of us apart, apparently.

The unfortunate part of living in a culture built on "bridges" is that few realize that once they've been burned, you must remove the original posts and start anew, otherwise those posts will simply remain frail and rotten. =/

Yes. Less fail in this thread. kthx

Hmm. Let's see what we can do.

I'll need your help on this one, though.

Step one:

    Read:

    Q u o t e:
    Spamming and Trolling

    This category includes:

    * Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
    * Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
    * Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
    * Making non-constructive posts
    * Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
    * Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements

If a player is found to have been spamming or trolling, he/she will:

    * Be given a temporary or permanent ban from the World of Warcraft forums, depending upon severity

Alright, folks. This is getting out of hand.

Though beholden to all the normal forum rules and regulations, the Customer Service OT thread is a touch unique, as it is meant to be a place in which relationships and ideas are fostered. It's meant, as well, to be a kind and gentle environment wherein all players may relax and kick up their feet and not have to worry about being judged, ridiculed, or spoken of negatively.

In honor of this idea, should there exist a grievance with another player, be it in game or within this forum, I ask that related conversation be held elsewhere or, at the very least, kept in check. It's a respectful gesture not only to those with whom you may disagree, but also to those with whom you share the OT thread.

That said, and if necessary or if desired, the "biohazard" feature may used to pinpoint questionable posts. Reports submitted through this feature will alert the moderation staff to potential CoC violations. :)

Hermanach, should you ever possess issue with a certain post—or even a certain trend of posts—please do use the "biohazard" feature. Those of us herein are mindful of what posts are selected and will give each a fair review.

This method is preferred over verbal accusations, as the latter may unwittingly exacerbate an already delicate situation. :)

Now, onto more important matters:

Q u o t e:
Don't you think home made cake is so much better than bought cake?

Home made is only preferred if the cook can actually, well...cook.

Hey, Hermanach—I've a small boon to ask of you.

Now that discussion has settled down a bit, and perhaps common ground established, would you mind deleting or editing your post on page 16? I didn't remove it immediately, as it spurred insightful conversation between you, Dave, and Svenlaugen; however, it does contain rather direct references to another forum poster (a matter best kept to private reports).

I'd greatly appreciate your assistance, and I believe the gesture would be viewed as both helpful and and in the spirit of this thread. :)

This is not the appropriate location to bring such matters to light, Hermanach. My post was intended to emphasize that point—nothing more. You've my apologies that my manner seem patronizing; I assure you such was not my intent.

While I will be removing the above post shortly, can I ask that you—should you wish to continue this line of discussion—email wowcsforum@blizzard.com? I've no desire to have your concerns belittled (or ignored); however, I would like my requests (specifically that which you've quoted) obliged, as they serve the best interest of this forum.

No worries, Wkc, those are usually an argument between what may be technically possible and what the Terms of Use allows. Unfortunately in some cases you must rely on a persons willingness to follow a rule that was put in place to uphold the integrity of the game.
