Beta Realm Maintenance - 8/11/14

Greetings All!

The Beta realms will be coming down for maintenance today in order to deploy a new build. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them. I don't have an ETA at this time, but I will update this post if I receive one.

I'll be leaving this thread open for general discussion as long as people remain civil and follow forum rules.

Haven't heard any mentions of a character wipe today, so I think you're safe.

This build has some fixes for the "You don't have permission to loot that corpse" issue - test it out once realms are up and lemme know.

Maybe to some, but probably not to others.

Don't have permission to loot is almost always a server lag issue.

The "You don't meet the requirements for that quest" spam is an ongoing investigation, I'll see what I can find out.

With regards to Garrison, it's harder to get a handle on which builds have which fixes to specific Garrison Issues since we're still adding/polishing up the Garrison experience. What specific issues were you seeing with Mission Tables?

Still no solid ETA, but we're making progress. Maintenance continues. Rough guess is maybe 3-5 more hours?

Build Number is TBD - we've got the server build finalized but the actual client build might change.

No new player character models this build. May potentially be some new facial options/changes as we continue to polish and implement that part of the new models.

My previous estimate still looks roughly on track - About 2-3 hours away.

Working on getting the build deployed to the Battle.net App, 18716 is the build.

Realms will remain down for a while still, authentication and realms are still under maintenance.

Finishing up the last of our required maintenance checks shortly, ETA ~30 minutes.

Realms are coming online now. Thanks for being patient!

Looking into the issue with the Level 100 PvE realm.

World server on Beta Leveling Realm 01 seems to be having issues as well. I can only chat, NPCs outside of the outpost aren't spawning in for me. Been disconnected once and the issue immediately returned.

What's your character's name on Beta Leveling Realm 01?

Level 100 PvE realm should be coming up now.

Beta LEveling 01 is having major server issues. Spamming "Transfer Aborted: instance not found" after leaving my Garrison to SMV. No NPCs around at all.

That's the behavior that'll happen if the Draenor Continent crashes. Your Garrison is on a different "map", separate from Draenor.

Our server team is looking into the crashes, they're really good at getting things stable once they've gotten some time to investigate.
