Pvp damage is borked

Damage in pvp is completely borked. Blizz screwed up big time and the damage to health ratio is absolutely broken. Buffing resilience will not fix this because baseline ability damage is absurd. In fact continuing to buff resilience is stupid because it will get to the point where crit will be useless and several crit-based builds for various classes will be rendered obsolete.

The obvious solution is to include an additional stat to pvp gear that reduces damage done by players. Perhaps a static one that does not change regardless of the item quality of the pvp gear. I'd suggest something like -25% taken by players when you have a full set of pvp gear on, regardless of what "tier" it is.

As a side bonus, this would probably kill any incentives left to wearing pve gear for the few classes that can still get away with it.

I do not have a great deal of information for you at this point, but I can say we do share the concern specifically regarding burst damage in PvP. There is much discussion amongst the developers about PvP game play at this point. We're going to see how people fare once battles are more saturated with resilience, however, we are well aware this may not fully address the issue.
