Beta Realm Maintenance - 8/6/14

Greetings All!

The Beta realms will be coming down for maintenance tonight order to deploy a new build. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them. I don't have an ETA at this time, but I will update this post if I receive one.

I'll be leaving this thread open for general discussion as long as people remain civil and follow forum rules.

Hi folks! No solid ETA at this time, but maintenance is well underway. We haven't gone home yet!

Could potentially change but it'll probably be 18689.

Oh noes a wipe too..I just tamed some cool pets /cry and got some cool stuff. And my garrison omg noooo what will happen to my peons? They will all be homeless /sobs think of the peon children!

It should, however last time mine did not & I had to restart the launcher to get the download going. I do know that for many people it did download automatically so I think it's just kind of hit-or-miss.

Yep sometimes it works other times no, so im here waiting : /

This patch should be smaller than the last one - that one was big because we hadn't pushed any builds in quite a while so it had over a week's worth of art, data, and code changes in it.

Sorry folks, I was monitoring the thread from home but fell asleep. Thankfully our awesome QA Night Crew and server teams were able to finish the push last night.

If your battle.net client does not update you to the new build (18689) please close all your WoW clients and restart your Battle.net Launcher app.

If you're still unable to update to the newest build, head over to our tech support forums for some further troubleshooting. Thanks for being patient!
