What do you think is going to happen to that seemingly small ap buff (blessing of might) on a pet when you give it abilities like Rabid (stacks up to 25% increased pet ap), Call of the Wild (another 10% increased ap), 92% increased damage ( Unleashed Fury 20%, Kindred Spirits 20%, Ferocious Inspiration 3%, orc racial 5%, spiked collar 9%, being a ferocity pet 10%, and pet happiness 25%). All this on top of Bestial Wrath (Another Increased 50% damage).
You gave hunter pets a very small base amount of AP and all of these extreme scaling abilities and talents. Did you take into account how this nerf is going to hurt hunter pets that aren't in a raid environment with access to all these buffs?
Let me give a quick example with numbers.
My pet has 1451 AP self buffed. He'll hit for 484-545 damage at a 1.28 attack speed.
Now lets add in one buff. Blessing of Might (increase attack power by 550)
Attack power is now 2001. Uh oh, now lets take only Rabid and let it stack to 25% increased attack power.
Attack power with Rabid stacked is now 2501 and pet is hitting for 779-841.
We just about doubled the effectiveness of that one buff. See how this works now? That's only 1 buff. It doesn't take into account the many other factors that go into raid buffs.
