Just curious, does this now (in)famous statement apply to both PVE and PVP?

Because perhaps this is the ilk of the healer outcry.
It doesn't seem to apply to PVP at the moment.

I hate to be incendiary, but I really am curious to know what the PVP design intent is relative towards healing.

Anyone care to clarify?

We would love to get that mantra to be more meaningful in PvP. It's just a lot harder. That is still the goal, but no, I do not think we are there yet.

Final Word on this thread:
I think we have a good idea now of where Blizz wants PVP to go.
I think we can all agree it is a work in progress. (Yes, yes, an understatement. Hush)
The next step is defining why healing doesn't work in PVP currently and suggesting ways to remedy it.
Note : Cheap Shots are for rogues, not healers, so post constructively, please. "Nerf This" isn't a suggestion, its nerd rage.
