Droprates changed daily?

Maybe some other people have noticed this but it seems like certain items droprates change almost daily. I do the netherwing quests everyday and one of the biggest pains is collecting the crystals. Some days I'll finish getting all 40 just as I'm finishing the other cave quests. Other days, like today, I finish all the quests and only collect 5. On days like today I just leave them for the next day.
This doesn't only happen with the crystals though. When farming motes for my cloth CDs this also seems to happen. Some days the motes will drop like crazy or at normal droprate percentage. Other days they will rarely drop. I asked one of my friends about this and he agreed.
Is it true that drop rates on items change constantly?

Drop rates do not change daily but as was mentioned, they do have a random factor to them that may make it seem that some days you're just luckier than others. It's just like when you can be on a quest for awhile looking for a particular drop and someone else comes by and gets it on the first drop. It's random and has nothing to do with the bad karma you brought upon yourself when you were five and kicked dirt on Billy's shoe when he wouldn't share his candybar with you.

I like how even when a question is being asked politely our beloved blizzard posters will still answer sarcasticly as any forum troll would. Grats on getting paid to do a job where you don't care about what it is that your doing.

Edit: P.S. Not all people are bad and looking to give you a tough time, so why treat your respectful clientele like morons

Woah.. hold on there. I answered politely and added in some humor. :) There was no malice or sarcasm in there. You are reading into it. I love my job and love interacting with the community. Too many times people on the forums are assuming that simple humor is somehow a slight. If you know me at all as of yet, you know that I am very rare to ever toss insult at anyone.

Again however, I'll toss in the email to the feedback box if you feel slighted. That is the place to voice your concerns, and not in a discussion thread.- [email protected] When we go "here" we skew threads and I've said before, there's no reason for it.

We both know how untrue this is. You are a ravenous blood thirsty monster bent on the destruction of mankind. I've seen you candles looking at me from afar, plotting schemes of malice and dread. DONT THINK I DONT KNOW YOU BECAUSE I DO!

You've learned of our secret plot to take over the world. I must now destroy you and eat all of your cookies.

I always said that but nobody ever listens:

The Random Number Generator of the Universe is bugged.

It's true. I have yet to win the lottery and I am rarely the one that gets that lucky first drop in game. *sigh*

BTW- I'll be editing out continued discussion of the other bit. I consider it closed and a more proper outlet has been given for anyone who feels to comment via the [email protected]. I appreciate everyone letting it drop. Thanks.

One time, while farming, I got 3 arcane tomes in a row. One of those drops also had some kind of blue armor item. I wish I would just win the lottery instead :(

I was doing a quest in Shadowmoon Valley the one day and got two nice blue recipe drops one after the other. I think I used up all my good karma on those drops though so don't expect to win the lottery yet. :(
