Earlier today I was farming in Nagrand. I'm engaging this mob when I see someone shoting it with Arcane Shot, Mutli-Shot, and stealing my claim on the mob... I'm like -sigh- and go kill some other mob.

When the dude's killed the mob he stole me, I stand by it in hope to steal the skinning loot when he says: "I'm not looting it!!!" To what I answered: "Well next time don't you steal ppl's mob you a--". Then the guy reports me...

So couple minutes later, I receive a in game mail saying I've received an e-mail... I open it, and see I've got reported for "harassement" after a "thorough investigation (just quote the sentence I said in /s)" which may result in account penalties...

So I went to check the links the e-mail gives, and see all sort of blablabla like "Two wrongs don't make a right" etc. But isn't that system way too prone to abuse? People act like jerks in game, and report you for telling them they are one? How is that considered as harassement?

Using profanity in-game is a violation of policy, Saeko; being a jerk, however, is not. While I do apologize for the frustration this particular character caused you, I'm afraid it's immaterial whether or not said character provoked your response or "deserved it"; these are not mitigating factors, nor are they means of absolution.

You've quoted Gandhi in your signature. Let me reference another at this juncture:

"An eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind."

This game is Teen Rated, so yes, Saeko, being a jerk falls into the teen rating and is not considered a violation of our policies though using profanity is. I'm sorry this player has caused you such frustration.
