It has come to my attention that the dynamic dns "Removed" is hosting a non blizzard world of warcraft server, with non blizzard world of warcraft realms. with this
many people (about 200-500) are not haveing to pay the monthly payment of a blizzard world of warcraft account.
This is taken directly off the terms of use at worldofwarcraft.com under Limitations on Your Use of the Service.
<http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html>
"Only Blizzard or its licensees have the right to host the Game. You may not host or provide matchmaking services for the Game, or intercept, emulate or redirect the
proprietary communication protocols used by Blizzard in connection with the Program, regardless of the method used to do so. Such prohibited methods may include, but are
not limited to, protocol emulation, reverse engineering, modifying the Program, adding unauthorized components to the Program, or using a packet sniffer while the Program
is running."
MEANING hosting a world of warcraft server without a lisence from blizzard entertainment is ILLEGAL and breaks the terms of use then EVERYONE accepts after a patch
download / when downloading the game / when makeing a account.
this should be investigated. personaly i would recomend pinging the server finding the ip and finding the owner and giveing them a call and evently sueing.
remember connecting to this "Removed" meaning that people do NOT have to pay monthly to keep there world of warcraft account enabled for login.
Thank you for your time.
