Question BOA plate for low levels

If i spend my tokens of the warrior plate gear and send it to my level 10 warrior will it be mail or usable. cause i dont really want ot buy the mail ones with int on them and i dont want to wait for level 40 to uee some boa plate gear thanks!

Mail and plate heirlooms behave a bit differently than other pieces. These heirlooms' armor type will change once the character reached level 40. For example, [Prized Beastmaster's Mantle] are considered leather up until level 40; once the owner reaches level 40, they transform into mail shoulders and their stats will be updated accordingly. :)

Please be aware that these items only behave as leather or mail for the classes which change armor types at level 40. In other words, a rogue is currently unable to wear [Prized Beastmaster's Mantle] regardless of level. Sorry for any confusion, folks.
