Linked Accounts - No Zhevra Mount?

Good afternoon! As the subject title indicates this is a question of not getting the Zhevra mount.

I linked this account with my girlfriend's main account on 08-13-08.

Since then I played through the free month (from purchasing the account)
Then paid for one month
Then got the free month from Recruit-a-friend
Then cancelled my account for a little while.

A couple weeks later my GF decided that she wanted the Zhevra mount, and asked me to re-activate the account. I did so, and paid for another Month.

There was no credit given for the Zhevra mount, even though during this entire process our accounts were linked (according to the WoW account management page).

I submitted a help request on the site there, but they referred me to submitting an in-game ticket (which I did, to no effect)

So I am submitting the ticket here, in the hopes that I can get some information.

Why didn't my GF recieve credit for her Zhevra mount, and can it be granted to her now (since this account has since expired)
