Can we get a real response on stunlock?

Yesterday I was stunlocked from 100% hp to 0% hp 3 different times by 3 different rogues. I only came across 4 rogues while I was on so that means 100% of the time 3/4ths of the rogues I encountered were able to stunlock me from 100% health to dead. Each time this happened I spammed my instant cast aoe fear in hopes for even a split second of not being stunned so that I could at least try to fight back. Only once out of my 4 encounters was I even able to get my fear off and I was already at 30% by the time that happened.

During my time on I heard of this happening at least 5 other times to either a guildy or a friend. This situation is happening far to often. It shouldn't be possible at all much less be so easy that it happens on a regular basis.

So I ask this. Can we at least get some kind of acknowledgment of the problem? I saw a thread about stunlocks the other day that had a post from GC. I got excited and clicked on the thread to read it only to find out the post was not even about stuns. This is a real issue that is effecting a lot of people. Please Blizzard, at least give us some feedback on this. Do you consider it a problem? Are you thinking of a solution? Any information on the topic would be appreciated.

One last thing. Before anyone starts talking about a level 74 getting killed by a level 80, this is not the case. The highest level rogue that jumped me was 2 levels over me. One of the rogues was level 72.

Our conversations go something like this:

In some situations, stuns can feel really overpowered and players on the receiving end of them can feel really helpless.

So, we could treat stuns a lot more like we do other forms of CC.

However, we have built a few specs around their stuns (rogues obviously, but Ret and other specs benefit from it too). These would need to be buffed significantly to compensate. For example, a rogue who can't stun as often or as for long would need a lot of defenses to compensate. Currently, preventing an opponent from attacking is one of their strongest defenses.

We totally understand the contingent of players who think excessive stuns just aren't fun. We did back off on several of the proc-a-stun mechanics in the game already. It is something we're talking about. Obviously I don't have an announcement of incoming changes or I would have made them already.

I didn't say it was working as intended. I said it is something we are thinking about changing. I posted specifically because I wanted to see the discussion that resulted. I hoped the response wouldn't just be rogues saying "it's fine" and everyone else saying "it's terribad." There is a little of that, but so far so good.
