I'm not talking about whether or not it's optimal to bring more than one.
I'm not even talking about whether or not it's a good idea to bring 2 prot warriors, or 2 MM hunters, etc etc.
What I'm referring to is that there is no case in any other class or build where a buff / debuff that they provide instantly prevents every other member of that class & build from fulfilling their full potential. None.
When there is more than one Unholy DK in a group or raid, whoever magically procs Ebon Plague first will do his normal DPS, his normal self heals, etc. Any other Unholy DK in that group or raid is instantly screwed over the very second that the first guy procs it.
1 - This is happening because Ebon Plague doesn't stack
2 - Why doesn't Ebon Plague stack? The assumption is that the debuff effects are too powerful to stack multiple times.
3 - The DK community agrees that the effects of the disease should not stack (IE: the magic debuff)
4 - The only thing the DK community is asking is: If I'm a Unholy DK on a raid, and I proc Ebon Plague, even if the debuff effects don't stack the disease should count towards my personal disease counters so that my strikes do full damage, my death strikes heal like normal, etc etc etc.
Possible solution? Have Ebon Plague land as a zero-effect disease when the target already has Ebon Plague with effects applied to it.
Please at least drop a line to simply say "we know it's an issue and we're working on it". That's all we're asking, for now. A few seconds of your time to acknowledge you've heard our plea would placate us for a while.
Thanks.
