Chest in The Oculus/Culling of Stratholme bug

I just ran The Oculus on heroic and at the end, our chest bugged out, it says Invalid Target. I spoke with some other people on my server who said they're having the same problem in Culling of Stratholme. Any clue whats up? I want my loot/badge/stone keeper's shards!

Our Quality Assurance Team are looking into these reports now, Purpledrank, they may be able to figure out what caused it to keep it from happening again but it will likely not resolve the issue that is occurring now.

You or your Raid/Party leader will need to submit an in-game petition, that petition can be escalated to our Charter Specialist who may be able to award the loot in that chest appropriately.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may have cause. Please note that queues are a bit longer than we would prefer so it may take several days before your issue can be resolved. Make sure you do not close out your petition, you will be contact through your registered e-mail address with the results.

On the chest issue, please refer to the sticky right above and submit an ingame petition.

We'll be getting to these just as quickly as we possibly can.

No need to wait about at all friend.

Place your petition with the information that was requested and feel free to continue play elsewhere, or log.

Just leave that open when you change characters or need to log out.

That is a matter of choice, Ibe.

You should have been able to loot an item in the chest that completed your daily, if you have a petition that was escalated about this issue that item should be restored along with whatever other item you qualified for from that chest.

In order to be able to receive and therefore turn in that item to complete the quest you must retain the quest. Here is where the choice is. If you want to do today's daily, you'd have to abandon the quest you currently have in your log. If you do that we would likely not be able to restore an item for a quest you no longer have.

So it is a question of, do you want to be able to do the daily today or hold on and turn in the daily from yesterday?

I'm sorry I don't have a better solution for you, Ibe.
