My friend just a made a trial a ccount less than a month ago. We have been questing and getting the 300% experience from quests, but then today for somereason we did not get it at all. We are able to stiill summon eachother so we are still linked. We are both the same level, we were right next to eachother when we turned the quests in, and we were in a group. I don't understand why it would stop working like that, please help

In order to receive triple experience you must be grouped with a character on the linked account, those characters must be in close proximity to one another, you must be within 4 levels of one another and the encounter/quest can not be trivial to any member in the group.

These benefits end at level 60 for the character or 90 days after the the trial account's creation.

Were the quests you were completing gray or green for anyone in the group? If the quest is over 4 levels below you it would be considered trivial.

also, if someone is eligble for a quest, while the other player is not. the bonus doesn't apply.

Not necessarily, but the quest can not be trivial to either of you.

If player A picks up a quest but player B does not. Player A can turn it in and if it meets the requirements for the bonus that player will receive triple experience. Player B does not need to have the quest or to have done it.

does this mean that my friend's first 60 character takes the affect off alts and such?*affect being triple xp*

No, it ends for the account after 90 days but for the character when it reaches level 60. It is an "and/or" situation. :)

The quests were not trivial they were yellow except for two that were orange.

Do you recall the name of these quests, Trecheon? The name, realm and level of the characters that were grouped would be helpful as well.

what i mean vrak is.................

say you get stealing knowledge.

requires lvl 45.

my shaman at the time was lvl 45, the raf druid was lvl 44.

but because the druid was unable to get the quest. my shaman didn't get exp bonus for finishing.

Hmm, the Shaman should still receive triple experience, Kabookiejoez. You are saying you did not receive triple experience even though the two characters were grouped, within 4 levels of one another and in close proximity at the time the quest was turned in?

I know that if a character does not have the quest but they are of the appropriate level to receive it, you'll get triple experience. I haven't heard of any issues with a quest that the other character does not met the level requirements to have.

If you can give me some other quest examples along with the level each character was our Quality Assurance Team may be able to test it out.
