Hunter pet tanking, no seriously!

if i spec my pet into tanking, and spec into the tanking tallents in BM, my pet still has 0 defense, why is there no way to get hunter pets defense capped!


pets are a worthless tank if they have no defense so why even have bothered making the tree in the first place?

We have heard some reports of hunter pets tanking say Nexus, which doesn't have a lot of movement required of the tank.

Really though, as others have suggested, the goal is more for them to be able to OT large pulls or group quests.

Now pet threat generation (Voidwalkers too) is something we are looking at right now.
